Silly Cats: Babies is an American preschool animated television series based off of the silly cats animated television series that features the characters as infants. Fans of the original silly cats series felt it as a slap in the face to the reputation of the franchise and petitioned on change.org to cancel the show and take it off the air, and it worked, so only 2 episodes and a half hour special aired, but there might be more episodes out there in the silly cats archives, due to the characters now being kittens, they’ve been flanderized, like say Jinx, who is supposed to be a heroic cat who will do what's right , to a whiny, spoiled brat who throws temper tantrums when she doesn't get balls. Additionally, Silly Cats: Babies seems to have zero correlation between the original show's lore. The only similarity is the characters.

I mean, the characters were like cardboard; e.g. Jinx and Maxwell's sibling relationship was only used for a plot device, and they did not mention each other nor acknowledge the other's existence afterwards. Like, when Jinx was trying to talk to The Eeper, he could've called over Max, who would play his theme loud to wake The Eeper. He was in the same house as him. There was no reason why he couldn't've done that.
Plus, Jinx got so much character development in the main silly cats series, and so she became a victim of flanderization, being reduced to 'likes to fight others'. Like I know they're one, but seriously??
Also the continuity was appalling. Only a few of these guys would be one years old at the same time. The Box featured in Episode 2 is the same box found in the Stupidville Forums, though it was actually a delivery box for an plot-central case of Stupid Soda, which was delivered at 13:99am on the 8th July 2017CE. It wouldn't've EXISTED at the time of this show.
Plot-wise, there was nothing going on. Like, sledding? The original series was a beautiful and somber anthology of human nature told by silly cats, and you give us this? The main characters mindlessly screaming at each other because they want to go on the sled but don't know how to take turns yet?? What imaginative episodes can you have when the characters are all infants, while still keeping the 'somber human nature' bit? So many. It would be hard to incorporate, but I believed in the team, and they let me down so hard.
Conclusion? 1/10. Team was bitten by the mosquito.
