Demetrus P. Dinklebottom was a crime boss that was responsible for the Clown Uprising. He met his fate to his own brother.
Biography[]
Demetrus P. Dinklebottom, or just Demetrus, was born in Silly City during a prosperous time. His brother, Dietzen D. Dinklebottom, was one of the handsomest kitties in the city and Demetrus grew very jealous of this. In order to steal Dietzen's beauty, Demetrus started researching the dark arts. He captured Dietzen, and experimented on him. Demetrus succeeded in making him hideous but Demetrus did not get any prettier like he wanted.
With Dietzen's repuation ruined, Demetrus could focus on other things. Demetrus continued researching the dark arts and started researching persuasion spells. He got the spells from copies of The Black Book of Silly Magic that were created by Future Kitty. When The GOODings weren't looking he stole one of the copies. Demeturs practiced these spells. He eventually mastered them. In his free time, Demetrus had grown a huge interest in clowns. Demetrus used his interest to influence people into joining him and to become a clown. He would raid city after city. These events became known collectively as the Clown Uprising. The military fought against it but they were futile.
Demetrus and his forces soon came to Silly Country to cause havoc. This event was one of the catalysts for the War of the Silly and Unsilly. Demetrus stared at the destruction he caused and laughed with glee. His power and influence were everywhere. Around this time, cracks started growing in his gang he had formed with the closest clowns to him. People started weaseling gang members out, Soon after that, a raid on their base happened at Plymouth Factory. The SCPD (Silly City Police Department) busted in and threw in smoke bombs. Many members were killed but Demetrus was able to escape unscathed.
Later on in the war, Demetrus was confronted by Dietzen in an alley. Dietzen reprimanded him yelling at him that he had lost everything. Demetrus chuckled. In a display of mercy, Dietzen tased Demetrus and turned him into the SCPD. The rest of his gang members were imprisoned and killed around this time. Demetrus was interrogated brutally and he leaked the locations of Zingus and $24.50, two well known criminals in the area. Both of them were imprisoned. Demetrus was imprisoned as well.
He woke up exhausted in his cell. His cell mate was none other than Zingus. Zingus forgave him saying that he had no choice anyways. Zingus was kind to him and invited him to his lessons of how to slither through the bars. It was quite simple, dislocate your spine, and break both of your legs. Demetrus trained for it and eventually escaped. He healed his legs with a healing spell he had remembered from his time in the dark arts. Demetrus confronted Dietzen. Dietzen pulled out his gun. Demetrus and Zingus, who was also with him, backed away in surprise. Demetrus could see the doubt in Dietzen's eyes. Then all of a sudden, Dietzen shot Demetrus. Zingus ran. Demetrus bled out on the floor watching Dietzen stare at him with a blank expression.
Demetrus' destruction can still be felt centuries after. With his death, his criminal empire was finally over.
