B.A.D is a combined organization built out of Gakster's criminal empire, Demetrus P. Dinklebottom and his clown gang (which grew into an army), and The Cult of the Grinwatcher (formerly known as The Cult of The Black Book of Silly Magic before Glinkert was excommunicated). It was originally established by Gakster in hopes that he can enact revenge on his brother, Plimpus, for stealing The Tooth from him, after he forcefully took it from Glumbus.

B.A.D has had 5 members who have been associated with the council that makes head decisions. These cats are:

History[]

Origins[]

B.A.D first began in Gakster's criminal organization. B.A.D is known to have been a pact between three groups and their leaders: Gakster's criminal organization, Demetrus' gang, and The Cult of the Grinwatcher.

The Cult of the Grinwatcher was formerly a second generation cult by the name of The Cult of The Black Book of Silly Magic. It had no criminal association as it was part of Glinkert's rule. The Grinwatcher would then rise up the ranks and reach the position where he could excommunicate Glinkert, which he did. This cult began practicing more spells, and some of the old members left.

Demetrus also had established his clown gang after his retirement from his work as an acrobatic clown some time before the Grinwatcher took over the cult.

Gakster saw the growing popularity of Demetrus' clown gang, and he created a pact that Demetrus would merge his clown organization with Gakster's criminal organization. The pact created a short-lived group identified as Houndwood.

The Grinwatcher, in his journey for world domination, saw an opportunity in Houndwood, and soon decided to form a pact with Houndwood to create the largest unsilly organization kitty-kind had ever seen. This pact created the prototype group, which we now know as B.A.D to be created. The Grinwatcher created the council system, and Slorphus and George became part of the council soon after.

Participation in the War of the Silly and Unsilly[]

Beginnings of the war[]

B.A.D was thought to be the starter of the War of the Silly and Unsilly by some, but again, the origins of the war are quite heavily debated on. Origins for the war can be thought to have happened by B.A.D beginning development on the Project Beastenator after they captured The Beast and The Yeast. (The Beast pretended to be captured but it was all part of his bigger plan. The Yeast on the other hand, was just being dragged by his much more forceful brother.)

Project Beastenator and the Baking Experiments[]

B.A.D had initially "captured" The Beast and The Yeast after they had escaped from Thistle Cave from the battle between Billy and Bentley. Gakster thought of creating a mass destruction weapon by harnessing the unsilly energy from The Beast and The Yeast. He would title this Project Beastenator. The Project Beastenator however, was already in unofficial development even before The Beast was "captured".

The first issue of the Project Beastenator, the unofficial Beastenator 200 was to be a handheld plasma beamer/railgun that could stretch for several hundred meters. It never saw realization as the main component, the Drum Accelerator was taken by Jinx from Babem.

However, after they captured the descendants of the Shard of Bingus, the project became officially established within B.A.D. A separate project, led by the Grinwatcher and Slorphus, was dedicated to trying to convince The Yeast into joining them. This would materialize in a series of secret experiments called the Baking Experiments. Gakster led the Project Beastenator, as he believed the energy if harnessed properly, could actually create a weapon far stronger, than if they simply convinced The Beast and The Yeast to work with them. This division in the group is thought to be the additional reason as to why the Grinwatcher wanted to excommunicate Gakster, and why he did in the end.

Funding[]

Funding for the project came in the form of secret pacts with Regalus and Bingustan. B.A.D had already made a pact with Regalus earlier to begin funding for their Project Beastenator, to which Regalus agreed, in order to fuel their arms weapons business.

B.A.D however, after arriving in Bingustan, had to run through the corrupt officials of the country, and bribe the Bingustani military to begin funding their military strength, and the country itself was bribed into a pact where they had to fund tax money into the Project Beastenator. This funding however, would most commonly be used to embezzle money into the Regalus armed weapons business through Gakster.

Military[]

B.A.D had military enforcement from B.A.D agents all around the world during the war, with one of its main funders, Bingustan, importing a majority of their army into assisting B.A.D in their conquest. The Bingustani officials made it in the name of what Bingus intended for his nation, in that it rules the world. (Another fact is that Bingus was still pulling strings in Silly Heck and he often swayed battles in their favor.)

Many of their guns and fatigues were imported from Regalus, resulting in soldiers who operated better in winter because of their heavy winter-designed uniforms. This choice of attire also was a great reason as to why B.A.D could never invade Eeperia during the war, and lost when they tried to fight a battle, even in the rarest weather condition: a storm and sandstorm combined.

B.A.D would however conquer a majority of Silly Country, with The GOODings having to begin using other regions to their advantage, such as the mountainous tropical Almanga Jungle, and the hot desert farming lands of Eeperia.

Dismantlement[]

At the end of the War of the Silly and Unsilly, The Beast was killed, although his brother a much more mysterious fate. B.A.D's Project Beastenator was discontinued, and members of the group were help in court for trial and execution. Associates of B.A.D such as Kiw, Slorphus, and George were able to flee from the group with ease, settling into new identities, with some even stopping their reign of evil. Kiw however, went into hiding, and still has not been found. George is thought to have taken another body, whilst Slorphus was also thought be killed in the War of the Silly and Unsilly. The Grinwatcher descended back into Silly Heck and his fate would be determined a decade later.

System of Rule[]

Initial Feudal System[]

B.A.D has had many different systems of operation over the years. It was first operated by a hierarchy of power closely resembling that of the feudal-system, with the metaphor determining somebody's height along the feudal pyramid being how many of the group they would control.

The first and highest rank one could get was a title by the name of "The Stepfather." Gakster assumed the role of The Stepfather during this initial period of what he deemed to be his criminal mafia. The Stepfather had complete control and oversight over the decisions of the organization, and could substitute himself in place of any of the lower ranks and enact a decision on any level through people with the rank of The Firstborns.

The Firstborns were the rank of people under the power of The Stepfather. They stood in place for the decisions of The Stepfather, and had the power to excommunicate members of the group as they or The Stepfather could see fit. They also controlled the trade and military choices of the regions that they were in the responsibility of, with their responsibilities being in that each member of the group remains loyal to the group and each member is under their protection. The Firstborns were appointed by The Stepfather, and would work for their entire life. They would have to be extremely loyal, extremely intelligent, and extremely strong.

The Secondborns were the rank of people under the power of The Firstborns. They would lead divisions of the gang to complete individual operations or trades. They were the final rank of criminals that have any real control over the organization. The Secondborns were responsible for the oversight of their divisions, and could not make individual decisions without verification from The Stepfather. They were responsible to execute members of the group that showed a lack of loyalty or were B.A.D for the division, in order to gain more loyalty into the group.

This system of rule would remain in Gakster's criminal group even after Demetrius entered the group, with Demetrius appointed in the position of a Firstborn and de facto as a firstborn and secondborn, with him enacting Secondborn decisions on multiple occasions.

Council System[]

The next system of rule came into enactment when The Cult of the Grinwatcher became part of B.A.D. The Firstborn and Secondborns were still in enactment, but the decisions of The Stepfather would be delegated to The Council. Members of the council were also appointed by The Council when a member is excommunicated, executed, or dies. This decision would only happen once with the appointment of Kiw into the group after Gakster's excommunication.
